Armageddon : An Islamic Perspective : A Comparison of the Quranic Stories of Surabadi with the Bible Sale

For Christians, Armageddon has come to symbolize the end of the world and the triumphant return of Christ. In this work the author examines the implications of such beliefs for modern Muslims. Starting from the Bible, the Quran, and such 12th century CE Commentary of Surabadi (the oldest complete Persian Quranic commentary extant), he traces the development of these ideas in Christian evangelism and explains how they contribute to and exacerbate the present atmosphere of crisis and confrontation in the Middle East that threatens the peace and security of not the Islamic world, but all of mankind.
